Why has NexGen Cyber chosen KnowBe4 as a Managed Service via Brigantia?
NexGen Cyber Limited, was formed in 2020. NexGen help customers within the commercial SMB markets achieve their business goals through IT security, security integration, service management, outsourced service transition, and transformative security solutions. NexGen are passionate about transforming security in the business place. The business is focused on providing a layered approach to security solution to our clients, while mitigating as much of the threats and risk that attacker pose today. We chatted with NexGen's CEO, Simon Rosemeyer, to learn why KnowBe4 was the best option for their customers. What challenges were your clients experiencing prior to purchasing KnowBe4 solution? "One of our clients had a major issue with training its 100 staff, it would take several technical staff around 8 weeks a year to configure and setup a training course and then get everyone to complete it! This also has it's challenges and caused difficulties around staff actually completing the training. The training was only carried out once a year, which was nowhere near enough to satisfy the Management team, as it left the company at risk." What makes the KnowBe4 Managed Service appealing for you as an MSP? "I am not a training specialist and want to be able to offer the best in the market to my clients. KnowBe4 is the best Security Awareness platform on the market. We are a small business with a few technical staff and not enough to manage a service like this. Being able to let Brigantia take control of the managed service is brilliant! This service takes the pain away and is also supported by technical people that know the answers and product inside out." What support has your customer received from the KnowBe4 Managed Service team at Brigantia? "One of our clients has received unrivalled support from Chris and the team internal KnowBe4 managed service team at Brigantia. My client is using the product more extensively than most and has had some complexed questions which I am happy to say have all been answered. My client is extremely happy with the service he has received thus far and would recommend it to anyone else considering changing their security awareness provider!" Why has NexGen chosen to partner with Brigantia? "We have chosen to partner with Brigantia due to its modern outlook towards their partners. They really want to help and move us forward together. There are very few vendors/distributors out there doing this today and it’s like a breath of fresh air. I have been in the MSP world for over thirty years and I have never had a more positive experience than working with Brigantia!"

Why Your IT Department has chosen to deliver KnowBe4 to their legal customers
Your IT Department was formed in Nottingham in 2009 with a simple vision: to provide customer-focused, high-quality IT services to local businesses that go beyond simply fixing computers and providing hardware. Your IT was built on the MSP model of proactive IT maintenance and client partnership. The company provides services to businesses throughout the East Midlands and beyond. We spoke with Lee Hewson, CEO of Your IT Department, to learn why KnowBe4 was the best choice for security awareness training for their legal clients. Why is security awareness training so important for legal firms? "Stolen credentials used in the majority of successful security breaches start with a social engineering attack. This is an alarming fact that underlines the fact that staff are at the front line of the battle against cyber criminals. In a Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) thematic review of cybercrime, 60% of firms said their biggest potential vulnerability to cybercrime was linked to their staff's knowledge and behaviours, and the SRA said this reflected its findings that most incidents occurred due to individual errors and misunderstanding rather than systems being hacked. How can a company expect their employees to be safe if they are not properly trained? What's shocking is that the SRA discovered that 20% of firms had never provided specific cybersecurity training to their employees, and more than half of those that had failed to keep track of who had received it. This is completely unbelievable!" What distinguishes KnowBe4 from other competitors in the security awareness space? "Choosing KnowBe4 was a relatively simple decision for us. KnowBe4 is the industry leader in security awareness! The fact that the content is constantly updated is also a big plus because it prevents stagnation. As a large vendor, Brigantia's relationship with KnowBe4 ensures that we are never left in the dark. Brigantia can assist with anything that is needed. While Brigantia's managed service offering is fantastic!" Why has your IT department chosen to partner with Brigantia? "Brigantia has been a partner of ours for four years, and we have found them to be extremely helpful and supportive. Many businesses in the channel use the term "value-added," but we have discovered that Brigantia has truly added value to our business! We have a wonderful relationship and I consider myself to be a true partner. Our account manager is always available to us, and we've received assistance with marketing, promotion, events, and education as a company."

Why Virtual IT chose to roll out IronGuard via Brigantia
EDIT: Retruster became IronGuard in October 2022 Virtual IT was founded in 2001 with the goal of providing "best in class" IT corporate infrastructure and service to the SME sector. Virtual IT is headquartered in North West London and has offices throughout the south-east. Virtual IT is a pre-eminent Managed Services Provider (MSP) to both the SME and Education sector, supporting over 15,000 users with their IT, Unified Communications and cybersecurity, delivering a wide range of cloud, hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, vulnerability testing, and support solutions, bringing together the best technology sets to address their clients' ever-changing needs. We spoke with James Selby, ITSec Consultant at Virtual IT, to learn why InboxGuard was the right solution for their clients. What challenges were your clients experiencing prior to purchasing InboxGuard's solution? "Our customers have market-leading email security, but no security solution is 100% effective, so they needed a solution that examines every incoming email and alerts the user to different elements within each email that may be malicious. This includes simple things like determining whether the email came from someone new who had never emailed the user before, as well as alerting users to suspicious characters or numbers in an email address, and even understanding the tone of an email to determine if it has a negative tone. These are all indicators of malicious emails, which users are frequently unaware of. InboxGuard alerts users to potential risks through the tags that are added to emails and the effective sidebar that has a green or red bar to graphically indicate to a user whether the email is risky or not. We have discovered that having a simple green or red graphic in the sidebar draws users' attention to the information thatInboxGuard is alerting them to, allowing them to make an informed decision, or perhaps just be a little more cautious before clicking on a link." What made InboxGuard's solution stand out against the competitors? "Our decision to use InboxGuard was not based on a preference for their solution over competitors; rather, we saw an opportunity to provide our customers with a new layer of security that they did not previously have. It falls somewhere between the email security and security awareness training layers. We chose InboxGuard because it is a new and responsive vendor that adds a valuable new layer of security for users while remaining unobtrusive. InboxGuard does not block emails or links in emails; it simply alerts users that there are suspicious elements in an email and that they should exercise caution before clicking on links or responding to the email. It is a very elegant solution for assisting users and businesses in protecting themselves." Why does Virtual IT choose to partner with Brigantia? "Working with Brigantia is very easy. We are grateful for the assistance we have received from our account manager and the product specialist team in general. They are always available to assist us with everything from product deployment to end-user queries. Brigantia's solutions are unique, which gives us confidence when deploying them to our customers. InboxGuard is yet another service we get from Brigantia!" More about InboxGuard InboxGuard is email security's last line of defence. It protects users against phishing, fraud, and ransomware through an easy to use and non-intrusive email security service. InboxGuard utilises the latest technology, including AI and machine learning, to unobtrusively protect your organisation's users, notifying users clearly and concisely if an email is deemed suspicious or a threat.

What challenges were your clients experiencing prior to purchasing Heimdal's solution? "PC Comms were conscious our existing Antivirus solution was missing some vital security components. Heimdal offered a next-gen Antimalware security solution at a competitive price. This subsequently increased the threat of ransomware and was something our customers were very worried about. Heimdal’s Dark Layer Guard and VectorN technology gave us confidence that customer endpoints were protected on the web no matter their location." What made Heimdal's solution stand out against the competitors? "Heimdal stood out to us for multiple reasons. Heimdal is uses a multi-layered approach when it comes to cyber security. If one of Heimdal's layers does not catch the threat, then the next will catch it. Using multi-layered protection gives the customer the best chance to remain safe from the many different cyber threats out there. Managing the clients is quick and easy using a responsive cloud-based dashboard, this, coupled with the multi-layered protection that Heimdal provides, allows us to spend more time improving our clients overall cyber security standing rather than having to remediate infected devices. It is a brilliant product!” Why does PC Comms choose to partner with Brigantia? "We really enjoy working with Brigantia.
